The Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG) remains steady against the US dollar, holding at its 3-month average of 0.5587. Despite ongoing geopolitical concerns and risk-off sentiment supporting the USD, the ANG has experienced little change, reflecting stable trading activity in recent days.
Against other major currencies, the ANG is relatively stable. It is trading close to recent lows against the euro at 0.4798, near its 7-day low, and just below its 3-month average. The GBP rate at 0.4151 is also marginally below its typical range, showing limited movement.
In the Asia-Pacific region, the ANG has edged up slightly against the Japanese yen, trading near 88.99, just above its 3-month average, while remaining within a narrow trading range. Similarly, the currency is slightly below its 3-month average against the Australian dollar at 0.7790, reflecting minimal volatility.
The ANG’s stability continues amid cautious market conditions, as traders monitor global developments, including geopolitical events and central bank policies. It’s advisable for travelers and businesses to plan accordingly, especially with the ongoing currency transition in the Caribbean region.
