18 Jul 2026 • 01:21 GMT
The Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG) remains steady against the US dollar, trading at its 3-month average of approximately 0.5587 USD. There has been little movement in recent days, reflecting a stable market environment.
Meanwhile, the ANG has shown slight strength against some major currencies. It is trading higher against the euro at around 0.4883, which is 1.2% above its recent 3-month average. This reflects a modest uptick and suggests some resilience amid broader currency fluctuations. Additionally, the ANG is also slightly above its 3-month average against the Swiss franc, trading at approximately 0.4512, marking a 1.7% increase.
In contrast, against the British pound, the ANG is just below its average at around 0.4154, staying within a stable trading range. The currency also touched near 90.76 against the Japanese yen, its 7-day high and about 1.6% above its 3-month average, showing some demand.
Overall, the ANG remains quite stable against the major currencies, with no major shifts so far. Travelers and businesses should stay alert to currency movements, especially as the transition from the old Netherlands Antillean guilders to the Caribbean guilder nears its deadline at month’s end.
