The public rates apply below €25,000. ASN Bank obtains a dealer-room rate from €25,000, which BER does not estimate from this table.

ASN Bank foreign-currency transfer questions

Which ASN Bank rate applies when I send euros?

Use the Aankoopkoers when a payment is funded from a euro account and converted into foreign currency. BER displays this as the outbound transfer rate.

Which rate applies when foreign currency is received?

ASN Bank uses the Verkoopkoers when a supported incoming foreign currency is converted and credited in euros. BER displays this as the inbound rate.

Are the published rates guaranteed?

No. ASN Bank describes the table as indicative and says rates can vary during the day. The rate used when the payment is processed may differ.

What happens at €25,000 or more?

ASN Bank says it requests a rate from its dealer room for transactions worth at least €25,000. BER therefore limits this public-rate comparison to €24,999.

Are these card or travel-money rates?

No. They are consumer foreign-currency bank-transfer rates. Card purchases and cash withdrawals use different pricing sources and should not be compared as the same product.
