Which rate applies when sending HKD overseas?
HSBC's TT sell quote is the price when the bank sells the destination currency. BER normalises that quote for an HKD-funded transfer.
What does the TT buy rate represent?
It applies when HSBC buys the foreign currency and provides Hong Kong dollars. BER retains that supported inbound direction separately.
Why is MYR not included?
HSBC currently publishes only one TT direction for MYR. BER requires both reviewed quote sides for this feed and therefore excludes MYR rather than estimating the missing side.
Are banknote rates included?
No. The feed is limited to telegraphic-transfer rates.
