Preferred Checking waives outgoing domestic and foreign wire fees from 25 June 2026. Private Bank relationships also publish wire-fee waivers. Conversion rates and third-party costs remain relevant.
Fifth Third receiving and timing
Fifth Third does not publish one guaranteed consumer international-wire delivery time. Ask the branch banker for the estimated availability date and allow for intermediaries, compliance checks and local holidays.
For incoming international wires, Fifth Third publishes SWIFT FTBCUS3C, routing number 042000314 and its Cincinnati wire address. Fifth Third does not use an IBAN.
Applicable debit transactions abroad can incur a 3% international transaction fee, a 0.20% currency-conversion fee and a $5 international ATM withdrawal fee. Card charges are separate from wire pricing.
