ANZ New Zealand transfer fees and exchange rates
ANZ goMoney and Internet Banking international transfers have a NZ$0 ANZ transfer fee. Transfers arranged by phone or at a branch cost NZ$15.
An OUR Fee may apply. Under that option, ANZ covers the fees charged by the correspondent banks it uses, although other intermediary or recipient-bank deductions can still occur outside ANZ's control.
ANZ displays the applicable customer exchange rate while the payment is being prepared. Compare the complete NZD cost and expected recipient amount, not only the visible transfer fee.
ANZ New Zealand commonly asked questions
How long does an ANZ New Zealand international transfer take?
ANZ aims to process an overseas payment request on the same business day when it receives the request before the applicable system and currency cut-off time. This is a processing target, not a guarantee that the recipient will receive the funds that day. Intermediaries and the receiving bank affect delivery.
Is ANZ New Zealand regulated?
ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited is a New Zealand incorporated registered bank and publishes disclosure statements under New Zealand banking legislation and Reserve Bank of New Zealand requirements.
Is ANZ always the cheapest way to transfer money?
Not necessarily. The digital transfer fee may be NZ$0, but the customer exchange rate, an OUR Fee and possible other-bank deductions determine the total cost. Compare the expected recipient amount before sending.
